Versailles Free: When and for Whom

On the first Sundays of each month, several museums and monuments in Paris are free. The Palace of Versailles is not included in this offer throughout the year.

Versailles is free on the first Sundays of the months from November to March. This means that during the high season, in spring and summer, the palace is not part of this free entry program.

During the months of November, December, January, February, and early March, on the first Sundays of the month, you can visit for free:

• The Grand Apartments and the Hall of Mirrors

• Temporary exhibitions

• The Apartments of the Dauphin and Dauphine

• The Ladies' Apartments

• The Hall of the Sacre, Gallery of Battles

• Trianon Palace and the Estate of Marie Antoinette.

Throughout the year, access to the Grand Apartments, Hall of Mirrors, Trianon Palace and the Estate of Marie Antoinette, and temporary exhibitions is free for those under 18 years old, residents of the European Union under 26 years old, individuals with physical disabilities, and their accompanying person.
